Yes, Nick and I have an addiction and it’s called Olive Garden. Is there really a better way to spend your night? This is the best restaurant out there…according to two of us! It has come to the point where our families don’t even bother asking where we would like to go for dinner because they already know.
I can’t fathom how much money was spent on our weekly visits to Olive Garden that year before Nick left on his mission …because it wasn’t until he got home we realized we could order a lunch portion or even split a meal to save money. Typical! Nonetheless, every Friday night we were there ordering the same thing every time—Fettuccini Alfredo, breadsticks and salad! Predictable was our middle name, and it still is. Now, whenever we go to Olive Garden we always bicker over who gets to order first since our orders are exactly the same the waiters find it rather amusing.

But (as the saying goes) “old habits die hard…” so naturally it’s been tough for us to come to the understanding that we can’t go to Olive Garden every Friday night anymore! It has been a struggle, but a struggle that only makes it that much more rewarding when we do splurge and take a trip to our favorite restaurant. I love that about us though. I remember one time we started having a deep conversation about our relationship and half way through dinner Nick looks up and he notices the table behind us listening intently. We laughed so hard! We had to sound so ridiculous to that family—what a mushy love story!
Nick and I love Olive Garden; I don’t know who we would be without it. It really has become somewhat of a special place to me. We got to know each other on those Friday night dates; we fell in love singing our country songs in the car on the way to Olive Garden. It isn’t just a restaurant anymore, it’s a memory! And of course, an addiction we will never overcome!

I have an addiction to Olive Garden too! It's mine and Colton's favorite restaurant. He tries to make me order something besides Parmesan Chicken and my potato soup... but It's my favorite!
